WILD WEST MODIFIED TOUR Weekend Preview
Atomic Motor Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho
WHAT? The final points races for the EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour will be at the Atomic Motor Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho on Friday and Saturday, August 23 & 24. Atomic Motor Raceway has hosted WWMT Championship Weekend since the 2008 season
Ricky Alvarado of Delta, Colorado leads the points in the IMCA Modified division over three-time champion Justen Yeager of Green River, Wyoming by 23 points. Alvarado was the inaugural champion back in 2007 and won it back to back in 2008.
Last year, Aaron Spangler of Dove Creek, Colorado drove to victory on Saturday and Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico won the Friday night show. Yeager was consistent enough to win the 2012 championship.
Last race, Ricky Alvarado of Delta, Colorado set a series record as he won four consecutive races in the series in Delta on Friday, August 2, 2013. Dustin Hansen of Myton, Utah added his name to the win list as he won his career first on Saturday, August 3, 2013.
The IMCA Sport Mods will also be in attendance for the their final races of the series. Chuck Delp of Rock Springs, Wyoming leads by 68 points over Gauge Smith of Roosevelt, Utah.

The 2013 WWMT All-Star Race is also going to be held at Millard County Raceway in October.

Ricky Alvarado of Delta, Colorado swept the weekend at Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah on Friday and Saturday, July 19 & 20. That was Alvarado's third win in a row and fourth of the season.
Gauge Smith of Roosevelt, Utah swept the weekend at Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah on Friday and Saturday, July 19 & 20 in the IMCA Sport Mod division.
