2011 WWMT Pick Em' Panel
Hello all,
It is that time of year already as we are getting ready for the 2011 Wild West Modified Tour season. It is that time to get things ready for the 2011 WWMT Pick Em Panel as well. For those that have played before, there has been a few minor changes to the panel which is listed below and for those that haven't been on the Pick Em' Panel, please read the following.
WHAT DOES THE PICK EM' PANEL DO? The Pick Em' Panel is full of panel of experts that pick the winner, best finishing hometown driver, a driver that will make the feature, amount of cautions, and the amount of cars that will show up at each Wild West Modified Tour event. Each time that you pick you will earn points and you will be eligible to run for the Pick Em' Panel Championship. The champion will be declared after the WWMT Top 20 Showdown in November and the champion will receive a trophy and possibly the rest of the panelists will receive awards.
There will also be bonus questions to answer as well throughout the season. You will have to pick a “player name” to play.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN TO PICK? Email reminders will be sent out letting you know when the deadline is to pick. There will be 25 bonus points awarded if you send your picks in by the deadline but you have up until a hour before race time to send them in to still receive points but no bonus points. Your picks will be posted on the website under the Pick Em' Panel section (If sent in by deadline).
Also, if you are confused about who to pick, the Wild West Modified Tour website has a lot of statistics about each track and driver to look at. You can also send in your picks by text messaging to 435-602-9780.
POINTS SYSTEM: For the Winner, Best Finishing Hometown Driver, & Feature starter- You will earn points by where that driver finishes. For the Cautions and Drivers- You will earn points by who was the closest guess. (Bonus questions run under this system as well). Full points system will be posted on the Pick Em' Panel page.
HOW LONG IS THE PICK EM' PANEL SEASON? The Pick Em' Panel will start up in the end of January and will end in Mid-November.
