WWMT TOP 20 SHOWDOWN IS SET FOR LAS VEGAS AT THE DUEL!

Las Vegas, NV. - Drivers from seven states will represent this years EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour Top 20 Showdown held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada during the IMCA Duel in the Desert on November 10-12. The showdown will be Saturday, November 12.
The showdown will include the top-twenty drivers in the 2011 EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour point standings and the top-two in the 2011 Evenson Law Office IMCA Iron Man Challenge Series point standings.
Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico and Ryan Cotrell of Las Vegas, Nevada etched their name on the list of starters in June as they took first and second in the 2011 Evenson Law Office IMCA Iron Man Challenge Series.
The other twenty drivers qualified by being in the top-twenty in the 2011 EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour point standings. 2011 WWMT Champion, Justen Yeager of Green River, Wyoming will be making his fourth start in the race along with Chase Hansen, Mickey Stubbings, and Richard Anderson.
Don Baisch of Rigby, Idaho is the only driver with five consecutive starts in the WWMT Top 20 Showdown. He has made every showdown since 2007. Baisch finished fourteenth in the final standings in 2011. Making third appearances are 2010 IMCA National and WWMT Champion, Zane DeVilbiss and Wade Taylor.
Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico has won WWMT Features, a WWMT Championship, and the WWMT All-Star Race, but has yet to win the WWMT Top 20 Showdown. Is this the season. The only former winner of the race in the field is 2008 winner Justen Yeager.
Making second appearances in the 2011 showdown are 2011 WWMT feature winners Michael Hale, Travis Metz, and Cory Sample. Joining them for a second try are Brian Ungaro and Rick Spangler. Rick’s last appearance was in 2007.
2011 EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour & IMCA ButlerBuilt Western Region Rookie of the Year; Dustin Hansen will be making his first appearance in the Showdown along with Bert Beech, Austin Black, Chris Clark, Casey Delp, Kelly Smith, Craig Teter & Bryan Wordelman, all making first attempts.
