WILD WEST MODIFIED TOUR Weekend Preview
Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah
WHAT? The EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour will make its return to the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah since May of 2009. This will mark the halfway point into the 2012 season.
The series has had four different winners in the four races so far this season. David Karst and Will Brack own wins in Rock Springs and Aaron Spangler and Justen Yeager took wins at Great Basin.
Justen Yeager of Green River, Wyoming leads the points heading into the July 20-21 race weekend in Vernal. Aaron Spangler and Zane DeVilbiss are second and third in the standings.
Ricky Alvarado, Zane DeVilbiss, and Jeep Berry are past winners at the Diamond Mountain Speedway. Alvarado won in 2007, 2008, and 2009, DeVilbiss in 2009, and Berry in 2008.
