WILD WEST MODIFIED TOUR Weekend Preview
Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, Wyoming
WHAT? The EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour will start off the 2013 season at the Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, Wyoming on Friday and Saturday, June 7th & 8th.
Justen Yeager of Green River, Wyoming will defend the IMCA Modified series championship starting at his home track at Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Justen has two WWMT feature wins at Sweetwater out of the eleven races ran. He went to victory lane in 2011 and in 2009.
Joining Yeager in the winners circle at Sweetwater include, Ricky Alvarado (3), Matt Brack (1), Will Brack (1), Ryan Cotrell (2), Zane DeVilbiss (1), & David Karst (1)
This race will also be the first for the EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour Sport Mod Series.
The 2013 season opener will be races 78 and 79 in EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour history.
Alvarado was the first winner on June 30, 2007. Paul Peterson of Rock Springs, Wyoming started on the pole.

Chase Hansen of Myton, Utah brought home the win during the 2012 WWMT All-Star Race at the Millard County Raceway in Delta, Utah on October 6, 2012. Bert Beech of Green River, Wyoming won the WWMT All-Star Race Qualifying Feature on Friday, October 5, 2012.
Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico and Aaron Spangler of Dove Creek, Colorado picked up the final two races of the 2012 season at Atomic Motor Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho on August 24 & 25, 2012.
