DELTA, Utah (July 29) – A pair of $1,000 features are on the card this weekend when the EQ Cylinder Heads Wild West Tour makes its first-ever visit to Millard County Raceway.
The series dates are the seventh and eighth of the season for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds. The Modified Madness special is part of the Millard County Fair entertainment and IMCA SportMods also run both nights.
Two-time Ricky Alvarado has won four of the first six series events and brings a streak of three straight checkers to Delta. Three-time and defending series king Justen Yeager has yet to find victory lane this season but has been a model of consistency, with a pair of runner-up finishes and three thirds thus far and is just five points off the pace.
Pit gates open at 2 p.m. both days.
Hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Friday.
Grandstand admission for adults is $8 on Friday and $10 on Saturday. Kids ages 6-12 are $5 and six and under are free each night. Pit passes are $35.
Mufflers are required in all divisions. Modified Madness is presented by Addiction Chassis and Millard County Tourism.
The seventh annual series concludes with a Friday and Saturday, Aug. 23-24 doubleheader at Atomic Motor Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho.
